We Are Equipped With Natural Defense Against Gum Infection

Gum disease and oral rinses are completely regarded as opposing forces. We all know that a mouthwash is helpful in killing off harmful bacteria in your mouth and thus help in preventing dental problems and gum infections. It is true that anaerobic bacteria is the true cause of gum disease because it creates an inflammation and infection in the gum tissues. The harmful population of bacteria grows as tartar builds up on teeth because of the fact that normal oral hygiene cannot penetrate behind the hardened layer. Even our natural defense against gum disease which is saliva that neutralizes gum disease cannot penetrate behind tartar. Plaque is a gummy, sticky film that attaches on the surface of the teeth before the formation of tartar and can be removed by oral hygiene, including the use of oral rinses.
